In Part 5, we are investigating the lumpy idle and 1,400 RPM fail-safe mode on our Bring a Trailer 1989 Porsche 928 S4. The seller claimed this car was ready to drive anywhere, but we found a dead Temp 2 sensor and an open loop reading on the mass airflow sensor (MAF). Watch as Eric tests the resistance on the sensors, inspects the wiring harness, and shares a few quick updates on the dyed black console, fixed rear headliner, and new rear hatch parts from Roger at 928s R US. Video Highlights: Testing the Temp 2 sensor with a multimeter Inspecting the MAF wiring harness and connector Reading ohms between pins 1 & 4 and 2 & 4 on the MAF sensor Updates on the console color match, headliner repair, and rear hatch latch Let us know your thoughts and advice in the comments below! 🛒 SHOP AT radiatorgrillestore.com #Porsche928 #PorscheRestoration #BringATrailer #RadiatorGrilleStore #ProjectCar
