The new Porsche 718 Boxster and Cayman introduces a new set of engines, the 4 cylinder turbo engine.  This engine creates a lot of heat and increased side intake and front radiator cooling was necessary.   The new front fascia and bumper created large radiator intakes to increase cooling of the mid-engine design.
