A moment of silence for Anthoine Hubert - F2 driver fatal crash 8/31/2019
Our thoughts and prayers are with Anthoine Hubert's family after a tragic accident in the Spa- Francorchamps F2 featured race. Anthoine went off the track at the exit of Eau Rouge, a famous corner at Spa, and contacted the tire barrier. After contact, his car was directed back onto the track and was contacted by another car at around 170 mph. Anthoine succumbed to his injuries approximately 1.5 hours after the crash. #F1 #RacingForAnthoine #AH19

What are people saying about Radiator Grille Store!?!?
Here is one happy customer’s Review of the Porsche 718 front radiator grille mesh we sell. One thing to note is the comparison to the other large grille fabricator out there. We created these grilles as an alternative option to the other manufacturers out there. We wanted to have an OEM look that preserved the factory lines and structure rather than covering them up. We also wanted a product that installs easily, quickly, and without bumper removal. Ra Grill Store was born!

Why add a radiator or intake grille to your vehicle?
When you think about modifying your vehicle, you may first imagine performance upgrades, wheels, or suspension components. But one of the smartest and most overlooked upgrades you can make is adding a radiator or intake grille. These components may seem small, but they can have a significant impact on the performance, protection, and aesthetics of your car. In fact, many automakers intentionally skip over these parts for cost-saving reasons, leaving your radiator and intake a

Montreal Canadian Formula 1 Grand Prix!
What great racing and an unfortunate outcome for the Ferrari team member Sebastian Vettel. After an off track moment, Sebastian’s re-entry onto the track was deemed unsafe and was given a 5 second penalty. The time gap between Vettel and third place, his teammate Charles Leclerc, was large enough to soak up the 5 second penalty assessed at the end of the race to keep Vettel in 2nd place. This was not case with a similarly assessed penalty on Max Verstappen at the Monaco Gra

Autocross Day for the RGS crew!
Another season of Porsche Club Autocross in the Midwest. Autocross is a fantastic, safe event to explore the limits of your Porsche. The events are held in parking lots with cones making up the track. Cars are sent one at a time around the course. Courses are custom thought up by club members. Every ”track” is different. Autocross doesn’t kick up debris like a bigger track event. Bigger track beets can kick up rocks and tire shreds into the vulnerable Porsche radiators

Can’t fuel up your Porsche Boxster or Cayman all the way? Here’s a tip!
I noticed every once in a while when fueling up my Porsche Cayman 981 the fuel pump stopped at about 3/4 to 7/8 of a tank. I would think it was full and then get in my car and go to drive off just to notice the fuel gauge was not indicating full. i started trying different methods to fill my Porsche joy tank. I found that holding the fuel nozzle at an angle helped comple the fill to the brim and stop at the proper level. Just a tip for you Porsche Boxster and Cayman owners,

What separates RGS compared to the other Porsche Radiator Grilles on the market?
I created this brand and these products for my vehicles. I wanted to protect my cars radiators and intakes from leaf debris, cigarette butts causing fires in Porsche vehicles and rocks hitting the expensive radiators. I started searching the interwebs for options. I found some of the bigger UK brands and did not like the look. I wanted to create an OEM looking solution to protect the Porsche radiator grilles and Porsche side intakes. I also wanted the solution to be econ

The Porsche Whisperer - What is that? Is that the sound of the IMS??
Continued from my IMS? RMS? WTF? blog post. So the German girl (2002 Porsche 911 996 C4S) is home from California. I have been inundating my brain with internet lore of the devastating IMS and not so devastating RMS issues with the M96 engine. I operate in the analyst quadrant, analysis by paralysis??? yep, that, at times, can be me. So with all of this doom and gloom information, I became a hyper neurotic Porsche owner. I would say hyper as at some level, those Porsche

To continue from the IMS, RMS, WTH? blog
The Lapis Blue beauty showed up right on time. A 2002 Porsche 911 996 C4S with Savannah Beige full leather interior, manual with carbon fiber trim package. She was everything I dreamed of an more! What a fantastic vehicle! Something other worldy from the previous vehicles I had owned. The front end so low, the rear tires so wide, the experience so sublime, the road handling leaps and bounds better than the mustang. The manual gearbox was wonderful, confidence inspiring

How I became addicted to sports cars - part II - Welcome to Porsche
To catch others up on the journey, I started out with an 1984 80 hp Jeep Wagoneer (aka Cherokee) with wood grain and gold exterior, moved on to other unmentionables (Chevy Beretta (with a Dynomax exhaust and chipped! LOL), 1989 Mustang (tons of work done on it in my dad's garage), Honda Prelude (cool car, but an dogga-matic), on to a Mazda 6 (only redeeming feature of a manual, oh yeah an ebay Injen look a like intake and a tune module), then to a 2007 Mustang GT with a whipp

How I became addicted to sports cars
Where did I leave off.... oh yeah, I think we are moving post Mustang era. I felt I needed to get into a luxury vehicle. Luxury vehicles have one downfall, the lack of the availability of a manual. My choices were the Audi S range, BMW M range and the Acura TL SH-AWD. I ultimately found an Acura 20 miles from my house, 6-speed manual. I purchased the vehicle and loved every minute of that sweet shifting manual. But it was missing something. It was big and heavy. I need

www.radiatorgrillstore.com - how I fell in love with cars.
First and foremost I am a car guy. From a little boy, I had Matchbox cars, car models, and posters of Porsches, Mustangs, and a motorcycle thrown in there for good measure. I have built road cars into weekend drag racers in my garage with my friends. Break something on Wednesday night and scramble to get replacement parts so I could go to work on the weekend. Cars are in my blood and tinkering is calming to me. My first car was a 1984 Jeep Wrangler, with a single barrel
